Recruitment Process Overview


Step  Process Details
1 Identify Need Hiring manager fills out a Job Requisition Form detailing job requirements.
2 Job Analysis & Description HR collaborates with hiring manager to conduct a job analysis and create a detailed job description.
3 Advertising HR selects appropriate recruitment channels: job boards, social media, referrals, company website, agencies.
4 Application Screening HR shortlists candidates who meet minimum qualifications from the job description.
5 Interview Process HR schedules interviews; may involve multiple rounds based on position.
6 Assessment Candidates may take skill tests, personality tests, or other relevant evaluations.
7 Final Selection Hiring manager selects the best-fit candidate. HR sends a formal offer letter with compensation & start date.
8 Onboarding HR ensures a smooth transition and orientation for the new hire.

Stage Tasks/Activities
Pre-Arrival Preparation Notify departments, prepare orientation package, set up IT accounts and tools.
Welcome & Introduction Greet new hire, introduce to team and manager, provide office tour.
Company Overview Present company history, mission, values, organizational structure, services, and market trends.
Role & Expectations Review job description, performance expectations, responsibilities, and KPIs.
Policies & Procedures Review handbook: attendance, dress code, conduct, confidentiality, safety, compliance, etc.
IT Setup & Training Provide computer, software access, and necessary training.
Project Introduction Manager introduces current projects, tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
